SEADOTs General Assembly in Stockholm: Advancing Stakeholder Engagement and Digital Twin Development

From October 22–24, the second in person SEADOTs General Assembly took place in Stockholm to review the project’s progress and define the next steps forward.

The three-day meeting focused on engaging stakeholders and tool users, as well as advancing the development of the Digital Twin Ocean (DTO). The first day began with a concise overview by the project management team, summarising the current status, key objectives, and planned outcomes of the sessions ahead. Work Package leaders then presented their updates, followed by a consortium discussion on the analysis of tool users’ needs and the SEADOTs glossary.

Day two opened with discussions on the SEAtwins cluster, the activities, recent updates, and future plans, followed by an introduction to EDITO. In the afternoon, partners collaborated on consolidating technical details across the project’s case sites.

The final day emphasised tool development through active stakeholder engagement, highlighting the crucial role of co-creation in shaping effective digital solutions.

The GA reaffirmed the consortium’s strong commitment to delivering impactful results and showcased the value of teamwork in tackling complex ocean management challenges through innovative digital approaches.
